Central PA | Hate to say it but you can’t tell anymore. So many brands have fallen off a cliff for quality, like Viking. Or you’re going to see parts dry up as companies get bought and sold, or just give up and providing part support.
Parents had a Thermidor cooktop and top and bottom range. Both had relatively short lifespans and ended up getting replaced due to parts supply drying up after the Bosch buyout.
I know some of your standby brands like Whirlpool, etc., are mid tier in terms of quality and fit and finish, but there is a strength in numbers when it comes to part support either by the OEM or aftermarket.
