UP / Thumb of Michigan

We have a pull type Bil Jax 4527 articulated lift. I bought a pull type because I had no way to haul a self propelled.

My neighbor has a self propelled telescopic boom lift.

There are times when one is better than the other. For us, the Bil Jax is the most useful for what we do. If you just need to get in the air for anything, and don't need a lot of lift capacity, the articulated is more agile. You can go up and over something.

FWIW- we're talking about getting a newer lift and selling the Bil Jax. We'll likely go to a self propelled articulated.
