Western Oregon | I use to get 1 2 liter of Cherry sparkling water from Dollar Tree, then they didn't have enough things left to make it worth going there. Wife makes 2 orders from Walmart a month so I went to ordering 1-1 liter of their cherry sparkling water, last 2 orders it was out of stock so I substituted Fuji apple. Last time they substituted strawberry, I don't like the strawberry.
I rotate 2 bottles of water from the freezer to cooler to have ice water. As long as there is ice left in the bottle, I just refill and put back in cooler. It makes the water taste better so I drink more, especially water with chlorine in it. Could do with refrigerator but we just use a cooler. We only use a small 12v freezer and use the water bottles to cool the cooler, along with frozen foods that we defrost in cooler. One 1 liter bottle of sparkling water every 2 weeks keeps me from craving something that tastes sweet. Cold fruit and fruit juice was always my go to for sweets. Nut butter and soda crackers and a cold bowl of peaches was dessert growing up, once or twice a week in the early evening. A cup of apple juice 3 mornings a week. Right now, I am using 2 fruit flavored candies a day to keep cravings at bay. After 50 years, I still get a hankering for sweets, but it is manageable. Also I use some local raw honey to help with allergies during allergy season. Helps with allergies and sweet tooth. I also use it in a glass of peppermint sun tea with lunch. Extra special is fresh raspberries added to the glass. Never was much of a pop drinker, just a root beer or grape crush as a treat once in a while....James | |
