I guess really what I meant was don't let it be weaker than before because of all the cutting and welding. Sometimes there are additional holes to adjust the spacing and this area may be extra weak because of the incident. Main thing is don't hit anything again that would cause additional components to fail. I am thinking this is a 40 year old tractor like a JD 2940. Get another 40 years without hitting something and I think it can be written off.
