Middle Tennessee | After reading all the comments and what the John Deere dealer said about replacing the fuel tank it must be a newer 4 cylinder engine tractors with a plastic tank, not the older 4 cylinder tractors with a metal tank in front ( the 5000 series tractors been out for over thirty years, feeling old ) maybe replacing the tank is the best option, if it a plastic tank. Maybe best option is to take the tank off and empty all the fuel and get a good look inside with light and go from there if it’s a plastic tank. | |
