As a seasoned expert in too much water, especially early in the season, no, the crop will not snap out of it to yield the same as as a crop that was never too wet. The yield is already reduced. Hot and dry, while directionally correct, will not fix a root structure that doesn't exist and the anerobic soil is, for all intents and purposes, dead.
