SESD
we've had a couple pieces with algea over the year, always poly tanks. We've had good luck killing it, one was a really bad issue, and it had a body bung so we filled it up peaked full with treated fuel, let it sit for a several weeks, then used it dry, pulled the bung and poured a few gallons through it. Then treated every single tank after that, we also added a larger 3rd party filter housing between the tank and the rest of the factory system, never gave us issues again. Other tractor we just treated heavy and regularly, 2-3 filters a year, last couple filters we've gone full service life on and its not given an issue.

If the tractors going to sit for a period treat the fuel and keep the tank as full as possible, also like mentioned make sure the contamination isnt coming from farther up, a bulk tank sitting for years at a time should be treated
