| That is really sad. Farmer stealing from farmer! I have some NH experience but a lot of IH 35 rake experience and they are very similar rakes.
I believe you can make those pto shafts with off the shelf parts but pay close attention to the orientation of the yokes. They are usually welded on to the tubes at a strange angle. In other words the yokes on each end of the shaft are not parallel or in line with each other. You need to find one to copy or the basket will jerk and quickly destroy the drive train.
The gear box bearings should be timken. Just replace all of them. Won't cost much. | |
