NENE | I love E30 but I don't see why E85 needs to go away. The main problem with it is not priced aggressively in most cases. That problem exists with E30 also but maybe to a lesser extent. If a retailer is satisfied with X cents a gallon profit for E10 IDK why they can't make the same margin on other blends instead of gouging their customers for them. Some use the excuse that higher blends don't sell as much volume but a lot of that is because of pricing. The closest E85 available for me is about 15 miles away but it's barely any cheaper. Most small stations don't have blender pumps and can only offer a limited amount of choices so that's another problem. | |
