Subject: How important is coverage with fungicide?

NW Indiana
Often I see on here that guys feel coverage is very important with fungicide. When talking a ground rig many guys want 20 gallon to the acre. So why does a plane get away with 2 gallons and a drone 3 gallons? I was under the impression fungicide is systemic meaning it travels through the plant like a vaccine. I have read some fungicides are contact so more like sunscreen. AI says quilt is systemic but haven't had much luck finding anything else about others. So is Trivapro, Miravas and others systemic or contact? If they are systemic why do so many feel coverage and getting it to the lower leaves is important? What is the correct gallons for a ground rig?
