Pittsburg, Kansas | I have taken cinnamon on and off for a few years. Sometimes pill form, sometimes just mixed in food at a greater rate than for just seasoning. Sometimes long periods like now without it.
I can't tell that it does any good. That said, even the good promoted is very minor. So don't expect great reduction in blood sugar because what research there is only shows very modest improvement and improving insulin resistance.
By that last statement, I don't think I have instruments and consistency of diet to properly tell. In other words, any benefit I might gain could easily be no more than regular day to day fluctuations.
I personally saw no downside to taking it, other than a few cents a day.
In other words in a nutshell, it is not a miracle cure. But might be some minor help. Might be. I couldn't tell.
If you decide to try it, do please report back. I would be interested in your results. I think others would also.
