Central Illinois | back in the day when the dims and fops came on the scene, a lot broadleaf control in soybeans was done with burners (Spray Blazer/Basagran + COC- fish for a week). It was found that tank mixing the new grass materials (Poast and Fusilade then) with the burners showed a loss of control for the grass. Although the burners were not killing the grass it did enough damage to reduce uptake and translocation of Poast/Fusilade. So you put the grass materials on before the burners wait 3 days. Apply burners first then wait 5 days. AT least that is how I remember it. Some up the rate of the grass material these days as has been mentioned and also the antagonism with group 4's. | |
