Clethodim doesn't like to work with Group 4 herbicides, but it doesn't sound like that's what you want to do.
I mix Clethodim and glyphosate all the time. Like others have said, clethodim like oil and glyphosate does not. My solution to this is to use a High Surfactant Oil Concentrate (HSOC). It gives clethodim the oil it wants, but it won't antagonize the glyphosate.
