Eastern NE KS | ...for Oldtiger and anyone else that considered these Angus sires.
We each used True Balance AAA# 20129422 this year. I used him on virgin heifers to calve around March 1, '27.
I was wondering if Oldtiger considered Saluda AAA# 20336998? I passed on him waiting for more proof.
Generally speaking both bulls easily meet my minimum criteria across the board. However, True Balance has stronger carcass and is a step behind Saluda on hoof and maternal credentials.
Another diffence is straw price with True Balance at $50 and Saluda at $30. I haven't checked but suspect breeding certificates to be in the same price pattern.
