You are kidding right? Not even to July with most of the growing season ahead and you say we are running out of time for a drought scare.
We might be for my area.
It's nearly July. We have decent soil moisture, but at no time this spring has the soil been saturated. Roots should have grown well and gone reasonably deep. Just got an inch last week.
We need two more inches in July and two in August to get a bumper dryland crop. Two inches between now and August 15th will get us a decent dryland crop.
It's pretty rare that we don't get two inches of rain in those six weeks. |
