No one is mandating E15. Still an OPTION at the pump, but trying to provide that OPTION year around in all 50 states.
What is wrong with that other than Big Oil getting their panties up in a wad over it!





There’s no mandate for E10 either.

GS2 has his panties in a wad over nothing.



Go read the actual text of the Renewable Fuel Standard. It plainly states the mandated amount of ethanol that must be sold.

Tell me where I can get normal 87 no ethanol. Not 91, 87.
 

As kooiker points out below.. E 15 with higher octane is $0.70 cheaper than 87 octane without ethanol.. $0.55 cents cheaper for the same.. lower.. 87 octane e 10.

Well here ya go..  Your solution is for higher costing gasoline as THE ONLY option eh?

that sucks.

why would I vote for that?  Why not promote competition and force the refiners to lower costs.. now that’s what I’m voting for.
