I should acknowledge that the Trump administration has supported the RFS.. as well as increasing the RVOs in the RFS.. which.. has driven the industry.

We’re now staring down a big crop.. with no where near enough demand.. unless China comes in a big way.. (and for how long would that last?)  other than biofuels.??

President Donald Trump on June 24 called on Congress to pass E15 legislation and asked lawmakers to approve an additional $11.1 billion in farm aid, including $10 billion in economic support for row and specialty crop farmers.

Both requests were made as part of a $87.6 billion supplemental funding request submitted to Speaker of the House Mike Johnson by White House Office of Management and Budget director Russell Vought. The bulk of that funding would “address urgent needs related to Operation Epic Fury,” the military campaign launched against Iran earlier this year.  

personally.. I’ll acknowledge that President Trumps attempts to “improve the Middle East.. “Iran will not have the bomb”.. is probably.. the right call.

It will probably go back and forth for awhile.. the strait is open.. closed.. open.. etc..

The idea of using frozen funds to buy food.. commodities.. like wheat.. etc.. to feed Iranians whom have suffered makes sense to me.. bombs?  Or butter?

It appears that the players.. aka Qutur who holds some of these assets.. might go along with that.. maybe keep some as reparations to rebuild Iranian bombed assets.. LNG facilities..  etc.
