Southern Missouri
Many many diesel power units around here and nearly all them are tee with supply and return together, only time it’ll matter is if you let tank run out of fuel or change fuel filters , air can keep circulating there and make it hard to get all air out . If that happens , could be easier to slip supply hose coming from tank off of tee and put directly to engine and just let return shoot to ground for a few minutes and then when all air out of system, shut it off and put tee and hoses back like they were and run at idle for a few minutes, should be back in business then .Really not uncommon around here for good sized operations to have 200 diesel power units, saving 20 foot of return line at each engine location can add up plus is easier to only have supply tank set up with one outlet .
