S Illinois | Not to discount the damage you are talking about but having lived near the epicenter of last years planting debacle, I think most would agree the crops that got planted turned out better than many thought. I would argue that many more bushels were lost due to Aug dryness as the area that did get at least something in Aug had county yields pretty close to expected APH. It would be interesting to see how some of those who were involved in those heated discussions last spring/summer fared.
