Subject: RE: Unleaded 88 is still as much as a dollar cheaper then carcinogenic gasoline.

This is another topic, but why is E88 the only option on that pump that doesn't say how much ethanol the option contains or might contain? 3 of the 5 options say explicitly no ethanol. 1 of the 5 says how much ethanol it might contain. The E88 option says nothing about the level if ethanol in it. E-85 has been around a long time. Most people know what it is.  I still say the average uneducated consumer sees E-88 and thinks "88% ethanol - I'm staying away from that." And don't blame that on the consumer. The first rule of business is "the customer is always right. Even when he is wrong."

Im not 100% positive but I think there was a 15% ethanol sticker outside of the pictured area.      Along with the “only use in 2001 and newer vehicles” warning sticker.

It is my opinion that E85 should have Never been labeled as such.    That label was and still is a huge marketing mistake.        All gas labels are by Octane, ethanol blends should be labeled the same.

And honestly, with the limited number of FFV’s on the road (less than 8% nationwide) E85 pumps are wasted opportunities.     They should all have E30 in them and be labeled something such as “Super Premium E30 - 93 Octane”
