The trigger will be different, the end results will be the same. 50% to 67% retraction in values. Farm Credit will be exposed once again and they will make it worse by turning off their lending spigot as a survival tactic.





Farm Credit won’t be very exposed, they require like 40% down. On the operating side, they said at a meeting I attended that they have something like 94% of their operating loan risk covered by crop insurance. I found that stat curious, since banks don’t buy crop insurance, yet they say they are covered…
