Iran is less than 1/10 the population of China. Iran are not pork consumers unlike China. This pork consumption is the primary reason why China imports so many soybeans. Freight from Brazil is cheaper into Iran than it is from the US. So no its complete BS that Iran is ever going to be anything more than a token player in the soybean market.
