Roseglen, North Dakota | Im a farmer cry from a Farm Credit fan. But to put blame on them for "getting farmers in trouble" in the 80's is just not right.
1. Farm Credit didn't hold a gun to farmers head making him take the loan.
2. A good loan to me is when the borrower and lender are on the same page. 2 people sign that note
3. The farmer signed it in good faith.
It was 20 % interest that put the nail in the coffin.
Neither the farmer or lender saw that coming.
