| Every year I spray and am amazed at how I killed all the weeds. Every year new weeds pop up and a few also survived from the year before.
It’s also similar to when conspiracy theories become the truth. The conspiracy theory had always been the truth. What changed was that it just wasn’t known or accepted as the truth by everyone earlier.
I do agree with your thoughts though that there is a lot more going on behind the scenes than we know about at our level. I suspect that all of us are wrong about some of the details of the situation.
I certainly don’t agree with flattening a country like that. I highly suspect that the majority of the people there just want to have normal peaceful lives but they grew up in a world where that was never an option let alone a norm. The radical minority are always the loudest and they get the spotlight. I suspect the majority, if given a choice, would choose peace.
