They work fine for loading anything under 1200gal... And that's what the design is for... Is mixing small load to finish up... If you fill up past 1200 or think it's off during spraying you can see float reading on screen and also with one push let the float reset any time the correct amount below the 1200 mark in tank... I will do this sometimes when I fill to 1260 then correct it... Can be done while spraying or if you want to get even more precise.... I'll do it setting still folding or unfolding booms changing fields... But I like simple so I think they work just as good as buying flow meter for loading... Same as meters for chemicals vs using guages on cones... Simple no calibration, cheap, and works every time... No issues with my R4045 machine at over 2000hrs on anything... Good machines and the 612 will have the most power to weight ratio... Check post several pages down...
They work ok….but for the price of the sprayer and the rest of the technology on the machine, that should be one of the easiest things to get right. And if the tank holds 1260 gallons, the float should read to 1260 gallons. Really not that complicated. Unless there’s an address that can be changed to make that happen..? Good sprayers though for sure. |
