Subject: OAT = OAT

Oregon
Factory fill on that unit should have been Fleetguard ES, which is an OAT. CoolGuard II is an OAT. So generally, no problems there. Of course it could have been topped off by someone who does not understand the issues with mixing coolants.

If you want to achieve the 6,000 hour CoolGuard II service interval, then you need to drain the radiator AND block, flush, drain again, and refill with only CoolGuard II.

Finally, if it makes you feel better, the X15 in the Deere 9RX 640 was factory filled with CoolGuard II.
