Subject: RE: Converting 1770 NT Planter from Chain Drive to Electric Drive?

Northern Indiana
We did it with agleader suredrive in 2021. Would highly recommend. Not sure on the insecticide portion if that would work. Bite the bullet once and add hydraulic downforce at the same time, it’s very nice
Pros - variable rate, turn compensation, individual row shutoff/section control, no more chains to oil, bearings on the drive shaft, new electrical harness and height switches on a good 2004 planter bar
Cons (this is being especially picky) - had to learn agleaders monitor, 2 monitors now autosteer still JD, have to remove drive motors to service finger meters
