How long you been farming? Even though it hasn't happened for a few year this isn't unusual. Yes, we are wet here too. Beans probably hurt a little more than the corn since the corn is tall enough to withstand the water. We've had some really big crops the last few years and that is due in part to having relatively dry springs and early summers with mid and late summer rains that saw every low spot raise a good crop. Have we lost a little cream off the top? I would think so but nothing crazy. There is a lot of summer left and it could turn off dry and hot in August. Until then there is no reason for traders to get excited about too much rain.
