Does your internet come to your computer through the telephone lines? A few months ago lightning came through our phone lines. Had the computer unhooked from electric and phone lines so it was OK. Some of our telephones were destroyed. Two “DSL Modem Phone Filters” were destroyed. (These separate the internet from the telephone service.) Some of the telephone lines in the house were also damaged.
