Subject: Easiest way to get rusted in threads out of a pipe fitting?

I have a lot of good galvinized 3/4" goosenecks off of pivots. But the threaded peice going into 3/4 pipe is rusted in real bad and flaking. I tried to burn them out with a torch but i am ruining the galvinizing on the gooseneck. I cant think of a better way without wasting a bunch of time on them. It seems like there should be an easiar way?
