100LL Aviation gas and Seafoam would help
We only use premium no ethanol in it. There isn't any chance of Seafoam damaging anything like the seat, is there?
According to seafoam, no. It hasn't hurt anything here yet, 1930s to present day age range.
Just a note though, seafoam is a cleaner. If the tank is full of junk, its going to dissolve that probably leave it in the sediment bowl, if it has one, or in the carburetor bowl.
I'd double dose it drive it around for a while so it gets to the carburetor and everything gets warmed up and all, then top it off and park it for a few months. A few of our vehicles we have done that, let it sit overwinter with a very strong dose of seafoam in no ethanol gas and not drain anything, then in the spring by the time it gets out the shed door it is running significantly better. | |
