Would try a good dose of seam foam. Not a ford but have a 1926 or so oakland here that was my grampas toy, original condition. Either way it sat in storage for 25 years, a bottle or two of seafoam and it runs pretty decent. I was very reluctant to tear a hundred year old carb apart, in fact seen a guy on youtube with the same model have one shatter just sitting on the bench.
