Bought a new Lode King grain trailer.

I have read the manual front to back a few times.

Can someone explain why you would need to dump the air during LOADING?

I have read countless threads about dumping or not during UNLOADING and see the argument both ways.

But why would the air need to be dumped while filling the trailer up? Doesn’t it need to be continuously airing up for the on board gauge to display load psi?

Thanks

The only time you need to dump the air is when you unhook from the truck. If you don’t dump air, the swing in the suspension will push the trailer as the air is lost putting stress on the landing gear. There is no need to dump air during loading or unloading.
