I’m not sure what cups the engineers used when they designed the cup holders but here’s a couple of my modifications. On a boxcar magnum a piece of 4” pvc pipe fastened to the corner post keeps a tall tumbler in place
For the magnum cabs a 3x3 coupler fits nicely in the cup holder and holds the same tumbler nicely. I took one of the hose clamps off and the bottom one fits down in the groove. These have both saved spills in the cab
