Ahhh yes the bigger game. What is that game?

Depending on how long a person has thought about this subject, will determine their answer. A person who has only realized this for a year or less will have a completely different answer than a person who has studied it for a lot longer. Both answers may be correct, but at varying levels. I’m at the point that my best answer to your question can be found by reading the first four books of the New Testament, with a special emphasis on the interactions between the ruling class (Pharisees and sadducees) and Jesus. I have found it helps to have a Matthew Henry Study Guide to see how Bible commentators from before the founding of this country thought about this interaction. In a few more years I may have a better answer for you, but that’s the best I have for now.
