That was a pressure protection valve you removed. Its purpose is to shut off air to the suspension in the event of an air bag blow out. That is a safety feature so the brakes still function correctly

Regarding the airbag, are you overloading the trailer? Anytime we ever had airbag issues was when the drivers were overloading and cornering aggressively


I’ve got a 3200 gallon water tank on the spread axle. Yes, some farm road corners aren’t the kindest. But being water it gets driven fairly carefully.
