Yea its almost like someone didn't read a couple of paragraphs down.

"Marketings of fed cattle during May totaled 1.55 million head, 12 percent below 2025. Marketings were the second
lowest for May since the series began in 1996."

So less cattle placed into feedlots, and less cattle sold out of feedlots. But feedlots still have cattle getting fed. As to what that means to price, I dont know.
