NC Iowa | I'd call them ok looking. Most farms held back a bit by lack of moisture the first half of June, the one that did get a timely rain in that span looks noticeably better. Not outright bad but a bit smaller than you'd think given the warm weather during that period.
The fields that suffered hail or some off target herbicide have grown out of the ugly period. As I right now I think very good yields are possible but I worry about weed control due to later than average row closure. Think guys on 20s are going to be happier than us on 30s | |
