East of Broken Bow | I have raised food grade corn a couple times. There is a long story into why I did and why I no longer do, but they wanted every variety in a different bin if possible, and would pull samples and do tests on it.
I can't remember the details, but the higher test weight corn tended to have higher nutritional values, so assuming that would carry over into regular field corn, high test weight corn should make for better feed.
