C IL | In the cold light of day I kind of feel the same way about who ‘won’ and who ‘lost’.
We took our shot, the public expert advice is kind of hard to sort out from the punditry but appeared to advise against it, and as appears predicted we lost. Maybe if there was more popular support in-country Iran but apparently there wasn’t.
Not the first administration to attempt such things and probably not the last, and seems like there will be midterm consequences. I’m not sure how that affects markets other than they are continually a little less free and open all the time and closing off free ocean navigation here seems to be yet another step that direction. | |
