Top of Texas		I had a cow I bought who turned out to be real high headed and flighty, she tamed down some over the 10+ years I owned her but I don’t think she ever came into feed with the rest of the herd. She stayed productive well into her teens so on a whim I saved her last heifer calf hoping she’d have the same longevity. So far the daughter has shown none of the negative personality traits momma had and is doing a great job raising her first calf. So how much is the influence of genetics, environment, and the influence of the bull is anyone’s guess.
