London, Ontario, Canada | I wouldnt say it was all theatrics. The problem is some Canadians believe you can't speak to us that way. You offended us by offering us to join your country. So we are going to punish the US to show you what a big deal we are. Now our press spends a lot of time talking about the billions we have hurt you by not travelling into the US and boycotting US products but they don't tell you we are in the second quarter of a recession.
Funny if you ask a Canadian if you are supporting the US boycott lots say yes. Then when you ask them isn't buying solely Canadian products more expensive? They reply yes. Then ask so where is the money coming from to do that? The reply in most cases was that they are not supporting local restaurants by eating out less to save.... Canadian logic. Cut off your nose to spite your face.
But you have to remenber for 12 years Canadians paid 12 billion dollars to a Liberal party know as the Carbon Tax. That tax money was to reverse climate change. HaHa. Even though we are carbon double neutral. Now Canadians re-elected the same Liberals that are going to turn Canada into an economic energy powerhouse selling oil and LG around the world.. No mention of giving back the 12 billion they sucked out of Canadian taxpayers. But Canadians re-elected this Gov. with this type of deceptive policies just to suck tax money for a Holloywood momment. I agree that the energy policy talked about now is great. It's just 20 years late and probably impossible to implement due to are native land rights and enviromental activism groups.
Also just in case you don't think the press is controlled by the Liberals it just came out that More Canadians left Canada then anytime in history. So if people think all Canadians are the sheep we appear to be there is evidence that there is a group that sees the bigger picture and doesn't like the future path we are on. I pray with dialougue that people can be educated but the older I get the less that seems likley. Not for me... For my future generations. | |
