Yea, I think I could tell when the beets were lesser quality as the loaded truck seemed lighter leaving the field. It means you're producing and delivering the best product you are raising, Didn't know anything about feed, but makes sense with what I said. We grew barley and wheat when my dad was alive. A lot of emphasize on test weight when you delivered it. Discounts. Even in seed selection with more juice in it to grow. Probably get push back on that. It gets stuck in your brain that it's important. Not sure I ever mentioned it won the yield contest. My point was at the end when I said I didn't see the need to disparage a guy worried about or wanting high test weight grains. | |
