Are you sure that is deere damage? I know they are messy eaters but corn that size they generally leave it fairly clean at least here they do. Be pretty much just the little stalk left. Bigger the corn the messier they get. Yes they are hard on crops.
Of course I am certain it is deer. Tracks everywhere and their manure droppings in the field. I saw five bucks walk into a field and start pulling leaves on corn bigger than in photo. Shot two of them. In the last twelve months there have been 44 killed here off of about 200 acres of land . |
