Markets are moving because the straits opened up to a towards a pre war trade level. Hardly a USA victory
do you consider it a victory because you believe Irans promise of not making nuclear weapons this time?
Or is a victory because Iran will be our friend after we give them billions while lifting sanctions?
Or is a victory because we are getting out before we dig ourselves a deeper hole? Any money they may or may not receive is a return of their own frozen assets invested in US treasuries. If we ever want foreign investment in our bond markets, prolly not very smart to confiscate it, don’t you think? |
