Don’t forget they will harvest veins from your leg to use for the bypass. Coworker said that hurt more than the sternum. My dad had valve surgery back in 2018. He was filling the outdoor wood stove after 4 weeks. First few days were rough. You will be walking the next day. You will also have drainage tubes in your chest they will pull out.
