I see where you are coming from now. I can imagine a test plot with a RM range from 98 day to 112 day corn. When you combine that plot the earlier numbers are going to be a lot drier and have better TW. When you combine the fuller season corn in that plot their moisture levels will be much higher so their TW will be lower but their yields will likely be much higher. So in a test plot situation you could almost say the lower the TW the higher the yield. I'm trying to think of another dumb analogy but I can't. I'm going to drink one more beer and see what I can come up with.
