| Now we should be able to tell the elevators all this, and they can stop docking low test weight corn. To me, I get paid for 56# corn, makes little difference otherwise, we did have have elevator personal grab a sample off a truck to show foreigners who were viewing the operation, and was later told it was because they knew the corn we were hauling in was high test weight corn. Maybe if your hauling around the globe it makes a difference on transportation cost, probably takes less storage if your an end user too, but feed a cow 20#s of corn, is 20#s, I don't know if your using weight for measure and not volume if it ever makes a difference or if it does, but it is a good thing to be able to listen to both sides. | |
