Nicollet County MN | I read most everything on here. Not sure I have ever posted before. We are not trying to re-land rockets here guys. Keep track of the units and it becomes pretty clear. Yield (Bushel) is a measure of volume. Test weight (pounds per bushel) is a measure of density. Test weight will never change yield. Just like density will never change volume. It is relevant since we are paid by weight (pounds). Does not change yield. Does change the gross dollars per acre assuming same price per pound. More weight to sell. Pounds equal money. Forget the rest. | |
