Hennepin, IL | Honestly I think that's where most of the confusion lies. Those that think test weight is the holy grail think heavier kernels=heavier test weight when in reality I doubt they have much correlation and could even be a negative correlation as larger kernels may not pack as tight. Shape probably has more effect on TW than kernel density or weight does.
Edit: I'll add to my last thought, shape probably has more of an effect in normal years/conditions. Light kernels that say never black layered absolutely affect test weight.
